What is it?
This page allows you to edit an Auxiliary data record for a specific visit. The data includes Auxiliary data categoryes, types, and values.
There are three categories of auilary data:
Abiotic: includes abiotic information for the survey area such as bare ground estimates
Soil chemistry: includes nutrient information and other chemistry of the soils at the survey location such as percent nitrogren
Soil type: includes information about soil texture such as percent sand, silt, and clay
Each category has different types associated with it such as bare ground for abiotic data. This information can be reviewed in the data standards area of the website (see link on main navigation bar) through the Auxiliary data categories link.
The information should be changed in order as options for subsequent rows are dependent on the values above.
Select the category from the drop-down list
Select the type from the drop-down list
Enter the value with the appropriate units
Click submit to save the changes to the website database
You will be returned to the Auxiliary data table for this visit where you can the changes you made to the Auxiliary data record.
